A quick guide to how Randoria works.
Random picks
Randoria helps you choose a random movie, series, or game, or book when you are not sure what to watch, play, or read. Switch between the four media types at the top, then move on to another pick whenever something does not fit.
Filters
Use the filter button to narrow suggestions by year, genre, country, platform, ratings, and more. Series can also be filtered by season count, episode count, and episode length. Tighter filters mean fewer matches; books can be filtered by language and page count. If Randoria runs out of options, try relaxing or resetting the filters.
Your activity
Signed-in users can mark movies and series as watched, games as played, and books as read; rate any title from 0.5 to 5 stars; or hide a title from future picks. Ratings automatically mark a title as consumed. Guests can browse and filter, but must sign in to save activity.
Data sources
Movie data provided by TheTVDB. Game data provided by IGDB under license. Series metadata provided by TVmaze under CC BY-SA. Book metadata and covers provided by Open Library.
Metadata accuracy
Titles, posters, descriptions, ratings, and links come from third-party catalogs and automated imports. They can sometimes be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
